So our jeweler offered that she had two Montana sapphires that we’d like better at a lower price. Unfortunately they were late getting in so I had to return the three sapphires. We saw the alternatives the next day. Didn’t come close! So I’ve reordered #(X). That was the keeper from the beginning.

I’ve spent the past week looking at them, carrying them around in different lighting conditions, etc., while they are a bit lighter and not quite as blue-blue as the original sapphire, I think the colour is close enough to work for earrings.

I finally asked the question on our 5 year anniversary and the sapphire I ordered turned out being perfect. So it was a pretty easy choice for her, she instantly fell in love with the round one.  She was afraid if it was too purple people might think it was amethyst, but this is perfect perfect perfect.
Well here it is.  When we started, she thought she wanted an elaborate setting with all sorts of swirls and accent stones and stuff.  But once she started trying samples on, she fell in love with ‘simple and elegant’ that shows off the stone rather than distracts from it.  We absolutely love it, couldn’t be happier.   We are still fascinated by the color changing.  It’s much more blue in the setting (plat) than loose, but it’s still colorless/silver when looking at it straight on, and purple in some lighting.  Tyty.

I’m still going to take the time to check it out in different lighting the next week…but I know I love it! Having gone through this with another company I was hesitant ordering online again as I did not find the experience all that great…That sapphire ultimate was not for me, which I’m sure happens as even this one was a lot different in person than expected (in a great way!!!) I have inspected the stone under different lighting conditions, looking at the colour and cut, size and clarity, to my naked eye they are all what I was hoping. I was supposed to have it appraised/certified last week but most businesses here have closed because of COVID-19 so I will have to wait an indefinite amount of time until I can have that done. I have also found a jeweller who will set the stone, making a custom made ring for it, so if you like, I can send a picture through when it is complete? Likely at the end of the year at this rate! I picked up the gem two nights ago, what a beauty. Nice and dark with beautiful flashes of lighter blue which is just what I wanted. I took it to my jeweler yesterday. He was shocked the low price I paid. We don’t have much for Montana sapphires in Utah even though we’re so close geographically. Sorry for some reason I didn’t see the confirmation email, but I assumed it was sent, and it arrived on Tuesday! 
I’ve admired it in many different lights, it’s so unique and beautiful. I had a bit of a panic we weren’t going to get any sunny weather this week (it was raining when the gem first arrived), but the weather came good so I’ve seen it in all lights now.
The cut is amazing, please pass my compliments onto Andrew. I really get a sense he shaped it to be the best it could be. The smoky quality of the stone is very interesting too — am I right in assuming the way it seems to glow in low light is because of those smoky minuscule inclusions? It seems to capture and diffuse light very differently to an eye clean gem. Just so beautiful :)

(photos)This is the champagne pink tourmaline we purchased from you several years ago. It is a beautiful stone that changes color in different light settings. The first photo is the natural appearance of the stone; the second is in more sunset conditions and it takes on an orange sparkle. We had it set in a platinum ring that I already owned. The jeweler did a great job of replacing the mount from a smaller tanzanite (about 1c) to this stone which is over 3 carats. I love it!!! 
I’m sure I’ll enjoy the Montana Sapphires as well. I plan to have those mounted in white gold earring studs. After shopping two different sites to purchase something special, I returned both sets of earrings. The quality and clarity of the ones I ordered – even after research that seemed to confirm a reputable business – was very disappointing. So I came back to you!!! Which should have done months ago. I look forward to getting the stones and having them set. Thank you for the quality you always provide; the friendly customer service; the pride you take in your work and the beauty you bring out in stones.

Oh, Andrew! I could not be happier with this stone. It is fabulous. Fabulous. It goes from indigo outdoors to teal to a dark grey-purple in indirect light. For real. Maybe that is a function of the setting. ? Hard to see on a photo.

I received my andalusite and spinel today.  WOW!!!  They are both gorgeous but the andalusite blew my socks off (as the saying goes).  It has such incredible sparkle and it puts my existing one to shame.  I almost started to cry when I opened the package and saw it.  The spinel is such a hot pink and I see those flashes of red.  It’s quite different from the other one but equally gorgeous.  I guess gemstones are like children – you shouldn’t really compare them to each other as they all have different characteristics. If you could email the certificate of authenticity it would be much appreciate…

I just wanted to let you know that I will be keeping the yellow Mali garnet that I purchased a couple of weeks ago.  I love it.  I had been looking at topazolites but decided that the ones I saw were either darker than I wanted or too included for my taste.  While I like the green Mali garnets, I am a sucker for intense yellow stones.  And since you only had one yellow Mali it made my decision easy.  It is by far the nicest yellow garnet that I have.

I received my gemstones today and they are gorgeous.  Unfortunately I’ll be returning the Tsavorite.  It is a lovely and sparkly little stone but it has a few more inclusions than I would like.  The one inclusion along the edge makes me nervous about mounting it in a bezel set pinky ring.  I am so thrilled with the Mali garnets.
They have such incredible sparkle.  I can’t wait to have these mounted into jewelry.

It can be a little bit risky to rely upon a picture shown on a website and be able to imagine what a gem looks like in reality in three dimensions. But the gems are just beautiful and came out more than expectations.
I am also very satisfied how easy the shipment was carried out. I got the message from the Postal Office at the Arlanda Airport (Stockholm) on February 1st asking for documents (order confirmation and my company registration number) for customs clearance and I forwarded these documents on the same day. We received the gemstones today as they had taken a while to get through customs. I’d just like to say thank you for all your help and excellent customer service. Hi Andrew, I rec’d my order of the loose aquamarine cushion gem.  Wow!  The photo just doesn’t project the sparkling brilliance and sky blue color, features that will insure a winning centerpiece as a 36th wedding anniversary present to my wife.  I will see the jewelry manufacturer tomorrow to look for the right 18K gold setting.  I have 16 calibrated diamonds for him to use if he wants to surround the stone. My wife saw the gemstone and was excited at the prospect of it in a ring.  She has lots of jewelry but none have an aquamarine. I will be back for sure.

Hi Andrew,
I received my parcel today and I am totally in love with the pink spinel. The cutting and the fire that comes out of that stone is astounding and it looks almost like a pink diamond. I can wait to have it set so that I can wear it. The strawberry pink Spinel is gorgeous too, but not quite the right size for the side stones I have on hand. I’m going to sleep on it tonight, but I may end up returning the strawberry spinel. Aside from returning it within 7days via insured post, are there any additional instructions that I need to to follow? As always, quite pleased and will definitely return to purchase more stones in the future. Thanks…and… I’ve decided to keep the strawberry colored spinel.
